Please note, in order to successfully achieve the ACCA qualification, you have to do more than just pass the exams. The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) have specified that students have to complete a certain amount of practical work experience. Becoming an ACCA-qualified accountant does not just involve passing your exams and the professional ethics module, you also need to complete the Practical Experience Requirement (PER). Please note, the Practical Experience Requirement is COMPULSORY.

Fasset
Fasset College SA  is accredited by Fasset as a training provider.

Fasset is the Sector Education and Training Authority (Seta) for Finance, Accounting, Management Consulting and other Financial Services. 25 Setas were established in March 2000 in terms of the Skills Development Act, to cover all sectors in South Africa, including government. The members of a Seta include employers, trade unions, professional bodies, government departments and bargaining councils, where relevant, from each industrial sector. The Objectives of Fasset

Institute of Business Studies (IBS)

Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB)
ICB College SA is Accredited by the ICB as a Training Provider.

The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) was established in 1931 with the aim of promoting bookkeeping qualifications and membership of a professional body in Southern Africa. The ICB conducts professional examinations for those persons who intend following a career in bookkeeping and accounting.

The ICB is recognised by Fasset as a quality assurance partner (QAP) for the qualifications under the ICB’s Scope, Whilst the ICB is based in South Africa, assessments/examinations are conducted throughout Southern Africa, The ICB is also associated with the institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) and the International Association of Bookkeepers (IAB) both based in the United Kingdom.

This year,  thus far,  we are the only College using the complete range of  study material commissioned by the ICB, for the ICB programmes. This means we use the study texts, guides and workbooks that have developed specifically for the ICB. All this material is approved by the ICB. This is the only complete set of study material approved by the ICB for their courses.
