Assessment and Award

Once you have successfully completed the necessary assignments prescribed by College SA, you may apply to write the examinations with the SAIM. Upon successful completion of your exams, SAIM will award you with a Diploma in Business Management – Human Resources Management.

Should you successfully complete all the Certificate-Level subjects, you may apply to the SAIM to obtain a Certificate from them.

After each successfully completed subject, students can contact the College to receive a Subject Completion Certificate.

Important Exam Information

It is very important that you register as a Student Member of the SAIM, and that you register for your exams, BEFORE the exam registration closing date.

Please note that you must register as a Student Member of the SAIM. If you are not a Student Member of the SAIM, your registration for the exam will not be accepted.



Important: The SAIM Exam Fees are NOT included in your Course Fees – unless you register with the College on the “All-Inclusive” option.

The All-Inclusive Option

If you want your Tuition fee with the College to include all your Exam Fees and your Membership Fees, you can choose our All-Inclusive package. This is a little more expensive, but then the College takes care of all Membership and Exam fees, and we will alert you to fill in the relevant Membership and Exam Forms.

If you choose this option; you can pay all your study costs in a single in-advance payment, or in monthly payments. This means that you do not have to worry about being able to afford future Exam Fees and Membership Fees, since the College will take care of them on your behalf.

Note that the All-Inclusive option gives you Membership and Subscription for the full period of study.
Also, the College will pay for one exam per subject. If you fail an exam, you will have to make additional payments to re-write the exam.

The South African Institute of Management (SAIM)

The South African Institute of Management (SAIM) is a professional body that promotes life-long learning and the continuous development of managers. Its purpose is to help transform workers, supervisors and accidental managers into professional managers by encouraging self-discovery, self-governance, respect for human rights, networking and accountability to others.

SAIM offers courses that are registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) in various fields of management. • Course Fees – get this from your Student Registrar.
• Study Material – ALL the books and Study Material that you need to pass this Course (the Prescribed material) are included in your College Course Fees.
• Annual Student Membership Subscription Fee – - You need to register as a Student Member of the South African Institute of Management (SAIM). You will be responsible for paying the Membership Fee.
• Exam Fees – this course has exams so you will have to pay Exam fees.
