The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA): More about them

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) is the leading global professional body for company secretaries and senior administrators, and its affiliate, Chartered Secretaries South Africa, is the formal institute for governance and accounting officers in Southern Africa. The role of chartered secretaries and administrators is to ensure that their company's performance is profitable and that they respond to circumstances in a timeous, appropriate, efficient and well-organised manner. They need to be adaptable, keep abreast of developments, and have an alert mind to maintain effectiveness, and ICSA has an established reputation of delivering individuals that possess these skills.

ICSA has been accredited as a Quality Assurance Partner of Fasset (accreditation number: QAP9) and in turn accredited College SA as a training provider. Obtaining a highly recognised ICSA qualification from College SA would certainly distinguish a prospective chartered secretary from other applicants.
