WHAT DOES POETRY WRITING ENTAIL?Poetry is regarded as a form of art that uses style elements such as rhyme and rhythm to create literature in metric form. The language is usually rich in meaning and could be interpreted in various different manners. Poets use style devices like repetition and alliteration to create a flowing effect, which could sometimes even be lyrical, whilst other elements such as symbolism and irony is used to bring across specific meanings A POET is therefore someone who uses language is such a way as so artistically express his or her feelings or thoughts on a certain topic. They write in a very distinctive style and use various devices and figures of speech to manipulate meaning and emphasise certain thoughts. COURSE STRUCTURE SUMMARY
