Assessment and Award
As you work through the course; you will be required to submit various assignments to the College for marking and feedback. Once you have completed all the assignments, you are ready to write your College SA Exam. Once you have received notification from the College that you have passed your exam, you will be awarded with a College SA Diploma in Business Management: Financial and Credit Management Studies.

How do the exams work?
Once you have successfully completed all the assignments for this course, you will be ready to apply to write the exam.

Your very first assignment for this course will require that you:

  • Go out and find a suitable and responsible person who will act as the invigilator for your exam.

What is an invigilator?

The invigilator is somebody you need to choose. This person must be trustworthy and responsible. The College will courier your exam to your invigilator. The invigilator will give you the exam paper to complete in front of him or her, in a specific period of time. Once that period of time is up, your invigilator will put your exam paper answer sheet into an envelope and courier it back to the College. In other words, your Invigilator will be the person responsible for ensuring that the exam process is handled responsibly.

  • You will give this person a document which will explain what is required of him or her to be your invigilator.
  • If the person agrees to be your invigilator, he / she must fill in a form and return it to the College. This form will require that the invigilator provide us with all their contact details.
  • Once the College receives this form from the invigilator, the College will then contact him / her to make sure that this person is aware of their duties and responsibilities. The College will also determine if the person is suitable to be an invigilator.
  • When you have successfully completed all the assignments for this course, you will then have to contact the College and inform us that you are ready to write your exam.
  • The College will then contact your invigilator and arrange for your exam paper to be sent to him or her.
  • You will then write your exam (an open-book exam) with the invigilator present in the room with you.
  • You will have a specific period of time in which you must complete the exam.
  • Once that period of time is up, your invigilator will take your exam answer sheet and place it into a special envelope and courier the envelope to the College.

Please note, if you have not successfully completed all the assignments, you will not be able to write the exam.
