WHAT IS DIGITAL MEDIA PRODUCTION?The ability to transform literature to a digitally recorded piece is an ability that not many of us can perform. With nearly everything around us being digitally enhanced, it is no surprise that Digital Media Production is in demand. This programme will teach you to take a brief from a corporate or business partner and convert it into digital form, which can be used as a corporate image or as a proposal to sell your business to the public either via television or multimedia. This field of study is aimed at giving students the knowledge and skills to work within the sphere of broadcasting, with specific focus on radio as a medium of communication. It educates students on all the technicalities involved in broadcasting a radio show. COURSE STRUCTURE SUMMARY
ASSESSMENT AND AWARDYou will be required to complete activities coupled with two written assignments. Once you have successfully completed the necessary assignments prescribed by College SA, you will be awarded Certificate in Digital Media Production. This course in Digital Media Production would teach you how to make an idea come to life by means of digital programming. If you relate this back to radio broadcasting, you would therefore gain an understanding of editing and sound checks and how to set up recording sessions by using MIDI equipment and tools.
