WHAT IS DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY?
Digital Photography is photography that uses digital technology instead of photo film to produce digital images. This has fundamentally changed the art of photography and is used more and more everywhere, everyday. Technological advances in Digital Cameras are moving at a high speed and are not planning on slowing down at all.
The world of Digital Photography is limitless. Whether you are pursuing it as a career choice or just simply to up your hobby knowledge, digital technology always offers something new to learn and explore. The mere fact that you don’t have to wait for a photograph to be printed to find out that your brother’s head was cut off in the picture makes this a field worth looking into.
WHY SHOULD I STUDY DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY?
You might think that digital photography as a hobby only entails getting the latest party pictures onto Facebook but with a bit of know-how it can also be one of the most fulfilling pastimes you can imagine.

Commercial and Industrial Photography

Focuses on catalogs, big company advertisements and books. There is a wide variety to look into, like models, landscapes, wildlife, buildings etc.

ASSESSMENT AND AWARD
Once you have successfully completed the necessary practical activities, as well as the 2 written assignments prescribed by College SA, you will be awarded a College SA Certificate in Digital Photography.
