1. Registration and Tuition Fees

We register you on the right course for you. Then your Registration form and payment goes to the College.

You can choose to pay your course monthly, or you can choose to pay the whole programme in advance. If you pay the complete programme in advance, you get a 20% discount!

Remember to send your photo so that we can print it on your student card.

2. Welcome Pack; Tactics for

Winning CD
We send you your Welcome Pack and the Tactics for Winning CD.

Tactics for Winning will help you orientate back into studying. It helps you organise your life and your thoughts to give you the best chance of passing your programme of study. All you have to do is listen to the CD and complete the easy assessment in your Welcome Pack!

All students have to complete Tactics for Winning before moving on to the rest of the programme.

3. Welcome Call – Getting Started!

We will call you to make sure that you know how to get started with your programme.

We help you compile your study calendar and we make sure that you know exactly where to start and what to do next!

4. Student Card

Once we have received a photo of you, we print your student card and send it to you.

Your student card is proof that you are a “card-carrying” student. The student card gives you access to libraries and the discounts many places offer exclusively to students.

5. Tactics for Winning – Self Assessment

You listen to the Tactics for Winning CD and then complete the Self Assessment on Tactics for Winning which is included in your Welcome Pack.

You then send this Assessment to the College to activate the rest of your studies.

6. Your Personal Tutor

We send you details of your personal tutor. Your tutor will be carefully chosen as an expert in your field of study.

Now your tutor knows about you, and you know about your tutor.

You can send questions and queries to your tutor through the College, and we shall make sure that you get a speedy response.

7. Study Material

Once we have received your Tactics for Winning Self Assessment, we will immediately send your next batch of study material.

You work through the study material at your own pace and you do the home tests and assignments.

8. Monthly Contact from the College

Each month we shall contact you to motivate you and to help you with your studies.

If you are on a monthly payment plan, we shall also send you monthly reminders to pay.

9. Assignments

When you complete an assignment you can send it to us for marking.

Your tutor will mark your assignment and send it back to you with your marks and with comments on your answers.

This is a very important part of your learning, and you must spend a lot of time on this

10. Questions and Queries

If you have any questions, please write them down and send them to us. Or simply call our Student Services Helpline.

You can contact us via phone, e-mail, Skype, Mxit, MSN or Fax.

We shall answer your questions quickly, and if your questions are difficult, we shall call in the help of an expert!

11. Marked Assignments and Tutor Feedback

When we receive an assignment from you, your tutor will mark your assignment and send it back to you with your marks and with comments on your answers.

Doing assignments is a very important part of your learning!

12. Further Study Material

When you are done with a batch of study material, and when you have passed the assignments in that study material, we shall send you the next batch of study material.

How quickly we send you study material depends on how quickly you complete and pass your assignments!

You can study as fast or as slow as you like.

13. Exams

At the end of your course or subject, you will either do a final assignment or write an exam (or final assessment).

If your course requires that you write an exam with an external body or institute, you will have to register with that institution for the exam, pay their exam fees and sit the exam with them.

14. Certificate or Diploma

On completion of your programme we shall send you your Certificate or Diploma.

If your programme is examined or assessed by an external institution, you will get your Certificate or Diploma from them.
