All About Professional Institutes ...
What is a professional institute?<
An academic professional institute is an organisation that has certain specific professional goals.  These goals may be to promote study in business or administration, for example.  Or the goals may be to provide bursaries for students who want to study for a specific career.

A professional institute can take on almost any form.  It all depends on the institute’s goals.  The institute can be academic or it can be corporate.  This means that the institute can work directly with students or the institute can be a business.  Most of College SA’s institute partners are academic institutes.

What does a professional institute do?

What an institute does is completely up to the institute.  It really depends on the institute’s goals.  Some institutes may offer classes.  In this case, the institute is also a college or university.  Other institutes are responsible for accreditation of colleges and college courses.  They will then keep tabs on the what the courses are, what is contained in the courses and on how difficult the exams are.  If the courses do everything the institute says it should do, that course is accredited by the institute.  These are only a few examples of what professional institutes do.

Which professional bodies or institutes are connected to College SA?
College SA is partnered with several Professional Institutes. Because College SA is an academic college, our partners are also academic institutes.
Each of these institutes have different courses and goals.
