We recently relocated our ‘new registrations department’ from Pretoria to Cape Town. The second phase of this project involves moving our Cape Town offices to bigger and better premises. This move will be taking place the weekend starting the 27th of May. Our offices and call centres will therefore be closed from Friday 27th of May 12pm to Monday the 30th of May 12pm. PC training, also known as Personalised Computer training, can be done at any PC Training Institute. College SA offers various courses in PC training via distance learning. Distance learning means that you are able to study at your own pace in the comfort of your home, at work or while travelling. An Academic Advisor will be available to you through phone, email or Skype to assist you with any queries or problems regarding your course. Your course material is included in the course fees and will be couriered to you at no additional cost! Thus you do not have to buy your own text books. You will need your own personal computer to be able to complete your studies. The recommended requirements of a computer are the following:
A keyboard and a pointing device such as a mouse
800 MHz processor (1 GHz recommended)
512 MB RAM (1 GB recommended)
20 GB hard disk with 15 GB space available (40 GB with 15 GB available recommended)
DVD-R ROM drive
SuperVGA monitor, with DirectX 9 support; Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM); 128 MB graphics memory; Pixel Shader 2.0 (hardware); 32 bits per pixel recommended
A video card with two monitor ports for the independent practice activity in the "Video output and image input devices" unit
