College SA is very proud and extremely excited to launch our first Digital Photography Competition! And we have big prizes up for grabs!

 

This is an example of: "A day at the office". 
 

The competition is open to all College SA photography students. This is a perfect opportunity for all you creative minds to show us what you have learned so far and what you are capable of.
 

If you are not a College SA student yet, don’t worry. This competition is open until the end of March 2012, so if you register as a Digital Photography student this year, you still have more than enough time to enter. You can sign up for this competition as soon as you get your student number!
 

We are looking for fresh ideas and would love to show the world how talented our students are. All photos that meet the entrance criteria will be used on our website and in our advertising, so this is an ideal opportunity to showcase your art. Get your photos and your name out there! 

 

There are great prizes up for grabs for the winning photos, so get those lenses zooming and flashes flashing!

When you sign up for this competition, you agree to the following:

 

·         You declare that you are a Photography student at College SA. We will confirm this by means of your student number and enrolment form. Should you breach this condition, your entry would be discarded immediately.

 

·         You give us permission to use your image(s) on our website. We vow to give credit to your work by publishing your name next to each image we use.

  
The prizes for the competition will be as follows:

 
 1^st prize – 1 winner

You will receive a camera worth R3000.



 2^nd prize – 5 winners

You will receive a gift voucher from a photography outlet worth R1500.



 3^rd prize – 10 winners

You will receive a gift voucher from a photography outlet worth R1000.

Rules of the competition:


1. You need to be either a new or existing College SA Digital Photography student. This would be verified with your ID and student number.
 

2. Applicants may enter a maximum of 10 photos for this competition. Each entry grants us permission to use your photograph in our advertising. In turn we vow to acknowledge you as the source where ever we use your photo.
 

3. Authenticity: By entering this photography competition and signing the entry form you declare that the photo you entered is entirely your own work and that it has not been altered by means of digital technology such as Photoshop or computer software. You therefore confirm that you are the copyright holder of the photo(s) and that you give College SA permission to use it in web based advertising.

 


Terms and conditions:


1. This competition is only open to College SA Digital Photography students. This includes new and existing students.
 

2. This competition will run over a period of 4 months and all winners will be notified by email.
 

3. Entry open on Thursday, 1 December 2011 and closes on Saturday, 31 March 2012. All entries should reach our offices by no later than Friday, 30 March 2012.
 

4. Please send all entries eitheror via postal services to PO Box 3958, Tygervalley,    7536.
 

5. The draw will take place on Monday, 2 April 2012. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, 3 April 2012 and telephonically contacted.
 

6. The names of all the winners will also be published on our home page (www.collegesa.co.za) along with their winning photos.
 

7. The judges’ decision is final and no disputes will be entered into.
