College SA is accredited distance learning or Home Study College based in Cape Town and Pretoria, offering South African qualifications to people across Southern Africa. Payment Options Payment in Advances or Monthly Payment Plan: which is best for me? We offer students the option to either pay their complete programme in advance; or pay a registration fee when they register and then make monthly payment for their studies. Both these options are available to students outside of South Africa. The benefits of paying your programme in advance We offer a 20% discount to students who pay the complete programme in advance. This means that it is worth your while to pay the whole programme with your credit card, to get the discount. You can then use the budget facility on your credit card to pay the amount off over time. Usually the discount we offer is greater than the interest you will have to pay on a loan or on your credit card. The benefit of using the monthly payment option We allow students outside of South Africa to pay their studies by means of an initial registration fee and monthly payments up to the end of the course. With monthly payments we offer two benefits worth mentioning:
Postage and / or Courier Costs If you live outside South Africa, we shall calculate the postage or courier fees to get your study material to you. If you choose, we can calculate this additional fee for your whole programme, and then add the cost to your programme fee, which you can pay as per above. The Postage fee will vary, depending on where you live. And if you choose the Courier option, obviously that will be more expensive than normal postage. Therefore, the fees published on our website exclude postage fees for people outside of South Africa. Please contact us to calculate these fees for you. Institute Membership and Exam Fees If you choose to study a programme that requires membership of an institute; e.g. The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, or CIMA; then you can choose to pay these membership fees to us with your initial registration, and we shall make sure that we process your membership application and payments on your behalf. If you choose to study a programme that is not examined by the College, but which is examined by an external body; e.g. The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, or CIMA; then you can choose to pay your exam fees to us with your initial registration, and we shall make sure that we process your exam registration and payments on your behalf. Of course, these fees can be calculated as part of your total course fee. This means that you can get a 20% discount on these fees if you pay them upfront. It also means that you can pay these fees off on a monthly basis as part of your monthly fee to us. |
