Course Description:

This course focuses on research and your ability to critically evaluate accounting standards, especially with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).

•    Companies Act

Group Statements Volume 1

•    A group of entities and its financial statements: theory and background
•    IFRS 3 (AC 140) Business combinations
•    Consolidation at acquisition date
•    Consolidation after acquisition date
•    Intragroup transactions
•    Adjustments and sundry aspects of group statements
•    Consolidation of complex group
•    Interim acquisition of an interest in a subsidiary

Course Duration:

This course should take you between 7 and 9 months to complete.
